Listography Ep. 48 – 2023 Year in Review

Here’s a new year’s resolution for you: we’re back and hoping to be more consistent with new material! We’re starting 2024 by looking back at 2023. As sports fans, there was plenty to remember from Taylor Swift taking over the NFL to the PGA Tour being challenged by LIV to the NCAA once again making headlines for conference realignment.

We take a look back, and discuss why all three storylines matter. Thanks for listening and be sure to tell your friends about us!

Listography: Episode 36 – 2020 MLB Special Pt. II

Part II of the 2020 MLB Special is live! In the last episode we gave you our all-time favorite team, but in this one we rank the top five best games we’ve watched and then break down some storylines for this upcoming season.

We’re not huge fans of Rob Manfred, we thing replay is terrible and the Astros deserve all the boos. Those are the takes that await you in the latest show, which you can find in the second segment. Before that, take a trip down memory lane as we shout out the Chicago White Sox and their mostly-forgotten 2005 World Series squad. We also looked at our favorite games as fans as Wad and Tsuleff reminisce about 2011 Game 6 and Nate rehashed the emotional rollercoaster that was 2016 Game 7.

Who knows when baseball will be back, but don’t go all this time without the game. Listography: Episode 29 – NBA Preview Special

* cues up the NBA on NBC theme*

Listography is back, the NBA is back and all is right with the world again. Like ’96 Jordan, we are back and better than ever after some busy work schedules held us down. With NBA ball starting this week, we decided it was time to grab the mics and talk some hoops.

There are a million things we could discuss when talking NBA, but we decided to go all LeBron on you and give you not one, not two, but THREE Mt. Rushmore segments and a 3 Things We Predict.

Loaded with history, GOAT debates and of course some spicy predictions that might have us looking like experts in June, this episode was made for the basketball junkie. Pop in the headphones and listen to the Mount Rushmore of Point Guards, Wings and Big Men before heading over to our social media pages to join in on the debates!

You can follow us on our FacebookTwitter and/or Instagram. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to subscribe, rate and review on iTunes.

Summer vacation is over and we are back, baby! This music series rolls on and into a new millennium as we tackle the 2000’s in the latest episode. For once, we both gave answers that didn’t fire the other one up on our Mount Rushmore as we gave credit to the R&B and hip-hop artists that defined the decade.

Full Music Series: 1960’s | 1970’s | 1980’s | 1990’s

While the songs of the 2000’s were all over the place, we each managed to pick our five favorites and we finished the show with 3 Things We Recommend. It’s been a busy summer and we’ve been doing a lot so we figured we would pass along a few recommendations.

Wad professed his love for Traeger Grills and Tsuleff broke down his family trip to Hawaii, but there’s so much jam-packed into this episode. Give the show a listen and let us know your thoughts! Spring is in the air and that means baseball season has arrived. Listography is celebrating with a baseball blowout throughout the week! Three episodes packed with predictions, history of the game and debates on who is the greatest.

We couldn’t do this alone so we have Nate Wadley joining us for all three episodes and the three of us break down the Mount Rushmore of each division all-time. It was a tall task, but we each picked the top four players from the five teams in each division. In Part I, we discuss the Mount Rushmore of the AL East and the NL East before ending the show with three predictions in the American League this season.

The next three episodes will certainly stir some debate so we want to hear from you! Leave us a comment below or send us a tweet @Listography_Pod. As always, thanks for listening, and check back Wednesday for our Mount Rushmores of the AL and NL Central divisions.

Listography: Episode 5

Movie Madness Part III is here and this might be the most loaded episode yet. Cinema has gifted us many great film series, but which ones are the best? We tackled that topic in Mount Rushmore, trying to choose the four best film series that have a minimum of three installments.

From there, we broke down our top five favorite movies of the 90’s, which became rather difficult for us considering that was the decade we were born in. With plenty of talk about the Star Wars and Dark Knight film franchises, this is a can’t miss episode of Listography!

Be sure to follow us on Twitter @Listography_Pod as we continue unveiling brackets throughout March to celebrate #BracketMonth. Also, subscribe, rate and review Listography on iTunes.

Leave a comment or tweet with your thoughts on the best film series and films of the 90’s and thanks for listening!

Listography: Episode 3

There aren’t many things on this planet that are more universally known and liked than movies. Other than the weather and maybe music, movies is probably your first go-to when you find yourself in a conversation with a stranger.

The 2019 Oscars have arrived and we’re getting to the point in the year when Hollywood blockbusters start coming quick. With that, we decided to do a five-part movie series that will take us into the summer. The series will be broken up by a few specials, including March Madness and baseball episodes, but for now we give you part one of Movie Madness.

In this episode, we compiled the Mount Rushmore of actors before listing our top five favorite movies of the 70’s. We then finish the episode with Three Things We Liked and discuss three movies we liked that are up for this year’s Best Picture Award.
